 Rosebud: Young 'Apapane Birdette 6"x6" Rosebud, she just looks like a Rosebud! This is a little 'Apapane birdette. The 'Apapane is an indigenous bird of Hawaii. They are easy to spot in the forested areas due in part to their brilliant red/black/white plumage and also from their beautiful array of songs. Our little friend here just stopped by to say hello. And then she will be off to new and exciting adventures!
