My love of art began as a child and my first medium was drawing and coloring. So I decided to go back to my art roots and do some butcher paper illustrations in the style that is more evocative of childhood creativity. More to come:)

 Good To Be Home: Yellow Birds and Birdhouse in Tree 20"x20" I love the idea of a little birdhouse full of love with one bird waiting for the other to hurry home. This birdhouse is like a tiny farmhouse with it bright red siding and white moulding. The one yellow bird has been waiting all day for her love to get home. And the other yellow bird has been anxious to get back home to her. There's no place like home!
 Kisses For My Love: Bluebirds with Plumeria 6"x6" Kisses make everything better! That's what I say at least... These two Mountain Bluebirds seem to agree with my mantra and are spending a lovely sunny day amongst the sweet pink pinwheels of a plumeria tree. Sending kisses with love and love in the form of kisses!
 Good As Gold: Golden Retriever Pup 12"x12" Look at this sweet face! Golden Retrievers are known for their friendliness, loyalty and enthusiasm. They are always ready to play ball, eat your leftovers when you aren't looking and provide an upturned belly when you need some love and comfort. He's a true pal, more than you could ever ask for.
 Front Street Lahaina: Hawaiian Stores in Lahaina, Maui 12"x36" Earlier this year, I painted a 22x28 size painting of Front Street and really enjoyed making each store special. For this painting, I went with the panoramic shape to fit in as many stores as possible. We've got a Lei Stand for all your visitors and special occasions. Of course Front Street needs Wyland Gallery with his signature whale logo and an art show sign out front. A Shave Ice Shack to cool down from the hot Hawaiian sun and a Surf Shop to grab a board when a good swell hits the harbor. After all the shopping and surfing, relax for dinner at the Tiki Bar and Grille. And when (or if) you have to go back to reality somewhere that is not Maui, get a pineapple or two to take home. There's a crate packed already waiting to go! It's the magic of Front Street Lahaina!
 Passion For Love: Ke Aloha 'I'iwi Pair with Passionfruit and Flowers 12"x12" There's extra passion in this painting... Between the heart kissing 'I'iwi and our passionfruit and flowers, it's getting downright steamy! As part of my Ke Aloha Series, the subjects of this painting is a pair of native Hawaiian bird species kissing in the form of a heart and surrounded by the beauty and nature of Hawaii. The 'I'iwi is Hawaii's version of a hummingbird. They are not related and the 'I'iwi does not hover, but they are quick, cheery and easy to spot in their natural habitat.
