Lovin' You (redux): 'Akepa Pair with Hibiscus 6"x6"

When I went to Waikiki, I decided to take back a couple paintings that I thought could use some reworking. "Lovin' You" was cute as is, but I felt it could be cuter. 
I changed the position of the female 'Akepa to face forward with a closed-eye smile and colored her a bit more true to reality. The male got a little color tjuz and I brightened up their beaks and feet.
Of course the major change is the background. I went with a deep purple to really bring out the birdies and the flower.
So fresh, so happy!
