Pineapples galore! When I started on this painting, I didn't realize that it would be so difficult to paint a field of pineapples. But I am glad that I saw this through because it looks like such a happy pineapple plantation! My birds are super excited to be welcoming us and the little orange tabby is peacefully sleeping on the front lanai. You can almost smell the sweet pineapple perfume in the air and feel the salty ocean breeze coming over the mountains. I think it's time for a taste of Maui's most treasured fruit!
