The 'Amakihi is an endemic Hawaiian honeycreeper located in Maui, Moloka'i and Hawaii. These little guys are adaptive and have been able to survive as a "least concern" on the endangered list. The 'Amakihi's beak is perfect for siping nectar out of tubular flowers and for making Ke Aloha hearts. These two kissy faces are enjoying themselves with the fragrant plumerias sheltering them from the hot Hawaiian sun.
