It's been a while since my last post, sorry for the delay!
I figured I should go bright and cheery for my return to the blog. I love this primary color combo: fire red, sunburst yellow and cobalt blue. The 'I'iwi is like Hawaii's version of the hummingbird. They are not related but the 'I'iwi is a small nectar loving bird with a long beak and can almost hover like a hummingbird, but not quite. This pair of I'iwi are overwhelmed by all the Mamane flowers in their close vicinity. Which flower to sip first? It reminds me of Willy Wonka's candy park by the chocolate river, when Wonka sits down and songs while sipping and chewing on a buttercup teacup. Looks like Lefty has found the right flower already. Time to feast!
